OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer. These units are not in a retail box and typically do not included accessories (drivers, cables, software, manuals, etc..). These parts are typically used by system assemblers who do not require the fancy packaging and accessories. OEM products typically have a shorter warranty period then their retail counterparts and are not supported by the manufacturer.
